In the Beginning...

My heart overflows with a good theme;

I address my verses to the King;

My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

—Psalm 45:1

This isn’t just a verse of Scripture to me—it’s a calling.

For several weeks, God had been stirring an idea in my spirit—a movement that would provoke Christian creatives to pursue a lifestyle that attracts the spirit of wisdom and revelation like a lightning rod and then release what they receive with the same fire and intensity with which it came.

One Sunday, while my wife and I were at church, our pastor felt impressed to give a word to writers in the congregation. As he began reading Psalm 45:1, the exact phrase—the very name God had already placed in my heart—came from his lips—Ready Writer.

I have only experienced confirmation on that level a handful of times in my life. But every time it has happened, God has far exceeded my expectations.

I don’t tell you this because I think I’m somebody.

I tell you because—origins matter.

Good ideas tend to lose momentum over time. God ideas do the opposite. They carry the same weight, conviction, and fire long after they were conceived.

If you are a writer, preacher, speaker, singer, podcaster, or influencer, Ready Writer is for you.

It is time for a collective of Ready Writers to rise—people who know before Whom they stand, and refuse to be moved by the opinions of men. People who build altars that pull hearts out of bondage to the algorithm. People who become so captivated by Jesus that they begin to reflect His likeness everywhere they go. People who call forth the bridal identity of the Church and raise the volume of the Maranatha cry in the earth.

The world does not need more content. It needs—consecrated messengers.

It does not need more static adding to the noise. It needs voices—forged in the wilderness.

The hour is too late for borrowed revelation, recycled sermons, and messages crafted merely for the purpose of engagement. God is looking for men and women who will ascend the mountain, hear His voice, eat the scroll, and faithfully reflect what they have seen and heard.

I believe a great separation is already underway between those who create to be seen and those who create because they have seen Him.

One group is building platforms, while the other is preparing the way of the Lord.

Ready Writer exists for the latter.

My prayer is that this becomes more than a website, a blog, a podcast, or a community.

My prayer is that it becomes a gathering place for modern-day scribes—burning ones who refuse to settle for secondhand encounters and who carry a message worthy of the King.

The King is speaking.

The question is not whether Heaven has something to say. The question is whether there are still people willing to hear it, write it, and release it.

May our tongues become the pens of ready writers. May we speak His words, with His voice, to His people, for His purpose.
